Choice of 4 papers or 1 term project. 4 papers are due on 25 Jan, 19 April, and two of (8 Feb, 22 Feb, 15 March, 29 March). Drafts for comment of final paper will be accepted by arrangement.

Weekly questions: by Monday morning, e-mail sw654 at umich with a question inspired by the reading. Consider other folks' questions.
